Leftover Pasta Pie
This is a guideline recipe for turn leftover pasta into something different and delicious.
- about 3 cups leftover pasta and any leftover sauce
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup milk omit or reduce if using leftover pasta sauce
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 1 garlic clove
- salt and pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Whisk the eggs and milk together, along with salt and pepper. If you are using any leftover sauce, whisk it with the eggs.
Mince the garlic and add it to the eggs, along with the shredded cheese.
Mix in leftover pasta. In my recipe I used leftover angel hair. Combine all of the ingredients until all of the pasta is coated in the egg mixture.
Put the pasta in a greased pie dish, or other baking dish of your choosing and bake until the custard coating the pasta is set and no longer giggly. It should take between 20-25 minutes. The last few minutes top with more cheese if desired.
